This Privacy Policy explains how Plevara Team collects, uses, discloses, and protects information when you use the Plevara mobile application and related services (collectively, the “Service”).

By using the Service, you agree to the collection and use of information in accordance with this Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, please do not use the Service.

1) What Plevara Does

Plevara helps film enthusiasts and ticket stub collectors relive and organize movie-going memories. You can:

  • Capture Your Memories: Snap a photo of your ticket stub or upload a movie poster, then add the date and a brief personal note.
  • Visual Timeline: Watch your movie history come alive with a beautifully organized timeline month by month.
  • Archive Your Favorites: Create a dedicated collection of your most cherished films and ticket stubs.
  • Monthly Watch Insights: Get a curated summary of your monthly viewing habits.
  • Perfect for Collectors: Designed for film lovers who treasure every detail.

2) Information We Collect

We collect information in three main ways: (A) information you provide, (B) information collected automatically, and (C) information collected when you enable device permissions.

2.1 Information you provide

  • Account information: name, username, email (when you create or manage an account).
  • Customer support: information you include when you contact support (including messages and attachments you choose to provide).
  • Content you create or upload: movie entries, dates, personal notes, and images (e.g., ticket stubs, posters) that you choose to add.

2.2 Information collected automatically

  • Device information: device model, operating system version, language, app version, identifiers related to your device or installation.
  • Usage data/analytics: interactions with features, pages viewed, performance metrics.
  • Crash logs and diagnostics: crash reports and related data to troubleshoot and improve reliability.

2.3 Location information (only if you allow it)

If you grant location permission, we may collect precise or approximate location information to support location-based features (if available). You can disable location access in your device settings at any time.

2.4 Cookies and similar technologies

If the Service includes web-based components (for example, sign-in or embedded web views), cookies or similar technologies may be used to maintain login sessions and remember preferences. These may include web beacons or similar tracking pixels used for basic functionality and performance measurement. You can control cookies through your browser or device settings where applicable.

3) How We Use Information

We use information for the following purposes:

  • Provide and maintain the Service (including account creation, login, and core features).
  • Personalize your experience (such as organizing your timeline and favorites).

We do not sell your personal information.

4) Photo, Face, and Biometric Information

  • No face recognition or biometric identification: Plevara does not perform face recognition and does not create biometric identifiers or biometric information.
  • No training/marketing use: Photos or text you upload are not used to train models for advertising or marketing.
  • Default storage behavior: Your content is intended to be stored locally on your device by default unless you choose to upload/sync content (if such functionality is enabled).

5) Image/Text Processing on Plevara-Operated Servers (Optional)

Some features may involve processing images or text you choose to upload (for example, generating previews, organizing entries, or producing summaries). When this processing occurs:

  • Processing happens on Plevara-operated servers.
  • We do not share uploaded images/text with third parties for processing.
  • We do not sell, rent, or disclose this content to third parties except as described in this Privacy Policy.
  • We delete uploaded images/text from our servers promptly after the processing is completed, and you remain in control of whether to upload and generate content.

6) How We Share Information

We share information only when necessary and in the following circumstances, using the minimum necessary approach:

  • With your consent: when you explicitly agree to share.
  • Service providers (processors): trusted vendors who help us operate the Service (e.g., hosting, analytics, crash reporting, customer support tools). They are permitted to process data only on our instructions and for the purposes we specify.
  • Legal and safety: when required by law, regulation, legal process, or to protect the rights, property, and safety of Plevara, our users, or others.
  • Business changes: if we are involved in a merger, acquisition, financing, or sale of assets, information may be transferred as part of that transaction, subject to appropriate safeguards.

7) International Data Transfers

Your information may be processed in countries other than where you live. When we transfer personal information internationally, we use appropriate safeguards, such as Standard Contractual Clauses (SCCs) or other lawful transfer mechanisms, where required.

8) Security

We use reasonable administrative, technical, and physical safeguards designed to protect information, including:

  • Encryption in transit and, where appropriate, at rest
  • Access controls and least-privilege practices
  • Regular security reviews and audits
  • Backups and recovery procedures

No method of transmission or storage is 100% secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security.

9) Data Retention

We retain information only as long as needed for the purposes described in this Policy:

  • Account data: retained for the duration of your account.
  • Account deletion: if you request account deletion, we delete or anonymize account data within 30 days, unless a longer period is required by law.
  • Usage analytics: retained for up to 12 months.
  • Customer support communications: retained for up to 6 months.

If you request deletion, some information may remain in backups for a limited period before being overwritten.

10) Your Privacy Rights and Choices

Depending on your location, you may have rights to:

  • Correct inaccurate or incomplete information
  • Delete your information
  • Restrict or object to certain processing
  • Withdraw consent (where processing is based on consent)

You can also control permissions (e.g., location, photos) via device settings.

11) Children and Age Limit

Plevara is intended for users aged 17 and older. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child has provided personal information, contact us and we will take steps to delete it.

12) Changes to This Privacy Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will update the Effective Date above and, where appropriate, provide additional notice within the Service. Your continued use of the Service after changes means you accept the updated Policy.

13) Governing Law and Dispute Resolution

This Privacy Policy is governed by the laws of Plevara Team’s principal place of business, excluding conflict-of-law rules. Any dispute arising out of or relating to this Privacy Policy will be resolved by binding arbitration, unless prohibited by applicable law.
